  3. once in the chosen category, click on the new product button.
  4. A screen will apear with plenty of fields, the field names and descriptions beside are self explantory. The only ones that you might get stuck on are explained below and trial and error works best here;
  5. once you have completed the fields, click to preview and then click submit and save.
  • Product is Call for Price - will display 'Call for price' in the shop and no prices on the product.
  • Product Priced by Attributes - Attributes or product options are self-defined attributes to your products. If you choose to price your products based on attributes (color, size, etc), you can make use of this field to decide how you want to display your product prices.
  • Product is Virtual - Normally you would specify No, Shipping Address Required if you need to ship any physical goods to your customers. However, if your store offers professional services (accounting, law consultation, etc) to your customers and you do not need to
    ship any physical products, then you can specify Yes, Skip Shipping Address.
    If you specify Yes, Skip Shipping Address for this field, you are implying Always Free Shipping is marked Yes, Always Free Shipping, even if you set it to No, Normal Shipping Rules!
    Special, Product/Download Combo Requires a Shipping Address is used only if you want to provide both a downloadable product and a physical product to be sent to your customers.

Shipping weights:
eg. a parcel measuring 40cm long(0.4m) x 20cm high(0.2m) and x 30cm wide(0.3m)is equal to 0.024 cubic meter. Multiplied by the coversion factor of 250 gives, therefore, a cubic weight of 6kg.

0.4 x 0.2 x 0.3 = 0.024 0.024 x 250 = 6 kgs

If the actual weight is 4kg, postage would be assessed on the basis of 6kg.

* Be cautious of this feature if you are unsure of the dimensions or dont have a full understanding of how cubic weight is determined. Incorrect settings of the package dimensions can cause the module to return an error message. If you are unsure leave them at the default 100x100x100 as this turns off the cubic weight and all calculations are based on actual weight.
